“Born Yesterday” is a comedic gem by Garson Kanin that enjoyed one of the longest runs in Broadway history! This sound design features popular post war music for pre-show and intermission, as well as the flavor of 40’s jazz and music for underscoring and transitions. Cinematic themes underscore both of Harry’s outbursts, and a tense walking bass line plays as Billie and Paul sneak into the suite to grab documentation of Harry’s crimes. Sound effects are included for the door buzzer, a period telephone, and record player pops and needle scratches. The sound design includes all classical pieces called out in the script, with nice transitions for the changes of each record.

This sound design package for “Born Yesterday” includes more than 40 audio assets, and 70 playback cues.
